I'm starting my quest for a solid tub and frame for a lwb Sammy. Complete is great or a project is ok too. I don't need a nice daily driver as it will be stripped down to nothing and full-on modified from there.
Of coarse....cheaper the better and fairly close to Oregon preferred
Thanks

Really??? You need more projects??? Does this mean that your kick is going to stay IFS? Can't wait to hear your plans for a built sammy!
-
dont worry....the kick will get finished.....trailslayer,35-37's with toys or spidertrax 9" er's I just want to start stock piling parts for the next build.
its a curse.........
-
MMmmm spidertrax ;D
-
No he's building it for me. One of his "spare time" projects
Did they even sell the LWB in the US?
-
I'm leaning the way of a 20" stretch on a regular Sammy to maximize departure angles. and it just sounds fun too do.
soo......anybody have a good frame and tub for a swb Sammy in the Oregon area?
-
Not quite a project, but I get that this is what you are looking to do???

Yep, I found that one. It's very nice. If some investments start paying again I might have to get it.
-
I might possibly have something for ya. PM incoming.

I've got a line on a SJ413 pickup... It's long wheel base but has the tiny pickup cab. Call me if you're interested.

I wish. It's a PITA getting out-of-state vehicles registered in Kalifornia. Smogging them is one of the biggest problems. Then they dump a huge surcharge on your fees (either every year or just the initial, I can't remember but it ain't cheap either way.
Those trucks are AWESOME but I don't think I could get it here without a complicated mess of dealing with certifying the "Federal emissions" package and having the referee inspect it. Luckily I've never had to deal with that mess but maybe someone with experience can chime in here?
I'd love to have one of those trucks! >:(

thanks too all. I may have found a usable donor. it's just a regular wheel base but I can fix that >:D!
