Title: shackles

Im so not a fan of shackles, but if a guy just needed maybe an inch of lift wood longer shackles work or would they be more trouble than you save by not spending more on a lift kit. I have 3 inch Calmini lift, but I need another inch for bigger tires to clear the back of the fender flair in front.

Shackles work, but I prefer spring lifts.  On the plus side they are cheap so if you don't like it then your not out a lot of money.  Remember, to get an inch of height you need 2" longer shackles.

What size tires are you going to?

I have 2" extend shackles and longer shocks works fine. for just 1" I would get shackles no problem.

Cami what shocks are you using? I have 2 inch shackles and my shocks are stock. It limits the effect and the ride is rough as hell.

If I were gonna put shackles on a Sammi I would go with boomarang style. If not try adding exta leafs to the stock leaf pack.
