Post by: inchaos10 on April 24, 2011, 07:39:24 AM
Im looking at a 16v 5 speed tracker. In order to put a automatic transmission in it, I would need to switch wireing harness  from a 16v with a auto trany correct?

Most 4 doors and most 2 doors later than 95 have them, earlier like 89-93/94
are mostly 3 speed autos, which are made by GM and say so on the driver side
of the trans, the 4 speeds are made by Aisin (sp) who is an OEM Toyota supplier

4 speeds are only in 4 doors (except for the x90).

x90s have 4 speeds.
