Normally I like SAS'd kicks, but I'll have to agree... not enough left of the original zuk... :(
-

-
Yikes, couldn't have used a better body. :-/
-
The main thing is, it still looks like a MonsterBrute Suzuki ;D
I'd drive it ;D

I'd drive it, too. I'd wheel the piss out of it, too. But I still dislike it on principle. ;D
-
LOOKS LIKE A GOOD MUD TOY :P
-
It sure would be fun. I don't know about you guys, but I miss power ( don't tell my heeper friends). The only bad part is that it wouldn't fit down any of the trails around here.

WOW!!! :o :o :o Now that is something I would build ;D Maybe a little smaller tires and maintain some sort of Suzuki drivetrain (2.0?) but I like the concept a LOT!! ;)
-
When I told the guy I posted it here he said "I don't think it's quite Suzuki enough for those guys, though....lol"
I only posted it for interest sake...its a very challenging project and will likely be a hell of a fun machine when its done ;D Definitely the cure for the power hungry members ;D

Tell him we need More pics. ;D

:oThat rig is the $hit!! The creativity and work is impressive even if it is only using the body of the 'kick. The rig would be a riot to wheel. Thanks for posting the pics. 8)

the only thing i have a problem with..is the fact that he must have looked for the shitt%%t body he could find lol...for like $250 he coulda picked up a straight doner kick lol..instead this one looks like it has been rolled like 9 times =) got filler?? hehe
that thing is pimp though

I happen to know the owner. I'll try to get some better (clearer/ brighter) pics of it. BTW those are 44" boggers on it. That one tire is probably 50" in the air, I'd say it flexes pretty good  ;) ÂÂ
-
Where is the truck? and how much does he want for it? I'm dead serious too. Mind you, I'd stick my body on that frame.
-
Hiya, Zuk fans! I finally got registered...woooohooooo!
I'd like to thank everyone for the comments on my project, good or bad. This is the reason for releasing pictures of it before it's complete.
To defend the appearance of the body and suspention, I'll have to point out that I'm half way through body and paint when these pics were taken. There is also some fab left to do underneath, so the vehicle as a whole is not very pretty.
I'll try to dig up some more pics if I can figure out how to post em' up.
Thanks again!<----Jay
P.S., Bandit-- I'd like to finish and test this before I'd consider selling it.

Hey, welcome to the BBS. Do a search for UPLOADER. You will find step by step how to upload and post pics when you get some more. Can't wait to see it complete.

O.K.....Here's a test.
60" o' flex before contact with the body.

Hey, Thanks alot, Zukipilot! Works like a charm.
-
Wow... :o
I still don't like it based on principle ::) ;) ;D

Whats holding the front end on and the motor in? It doesn't look like you have a frame or anything from this pic.
-
;D 8) :oUnderpressure, you don't have to defend any of your mods... that rig is awesome! Thanks for the other pics as well. Can't wait to see it done. keep up the good work! :D
-
Welcome to the board Underpressure ;D
-
I love it. ;D
Thats just one sick a-- ride ;D :D ;D :D
-
WOW PICS. YOU CAN REALLY SEE HOW AWESOME YOUR FLEXABILITY IS :o
-
how much do you have invested in that thing by now?
-
Invested- My brain is sore, and I'm almost out of rod, and oxygen. As far as money goes......well, that's why my brain is sore...heh heh (wife not happy)lol
In the last pic, you can see the beginning of the frame directly to the left and right of the crank pulley. They are c-channel at the very front and are boxed in about 6" before the front coil perches.
The diffs pivot on all of the links. The top link and bottom links together control pinion angle, and the top link keeps the diff centered. And now that you know that........I must kill you! lol...J/K
-
jay that is awesome just sic flex, too bad it hits the body before it is flexed out, how much further will it go if there was no body???
-
Still cutting........... ;)
-
Still cutting........... ;)
how about putting a swivel at the top center rear of the front clip so it just moves out of the way when you flex it up that much? A couple bumpstops and some big springs.. :o

Thanks for the idea, However.....The body needs to be non- moving on the frame. When the body is done, I'll be adding a full exo-skeleton rollcage. 8)
