Title: Goin to convert my sammi to EFI

Thinking of using side kick or swift Anyone done this? Tired of carbs. Want something different.

Should work fine, just get the intake and distributor, might need the drive housing too
then get all the harness and ECU from a TBI Track/Kick and the electric pump should be
a frame mount from another vehicle, like they use with a 16V 1.6 conversion

If you are going to do, go with the 16-valve.  I don't think the TBI 8-valve gives that much better performance over the stock 2-barrel carb and is not worth the extra time and $$$ to convert IMHO.
