Title: Deceleration Mixture Control Valve
Post by: jga154 on May 03, 2011, 08:10:54 AM
86 Samurai, 1.3L stock, Cali legal

I just discovered this control valve has a hole worn through the aluminum cap caused by the steel clip that holds the assembly. None of the local parts stores can locate it from their suppliers. I tried online to no avail. Photo included.

Any ideas on where to find something like this?

I have it patched right now an it works but would like to replace it. Thanks.

Not part of the EGR. It is called the Deceleration Mixture Control Valve System in the service manual. Supposed to save fuel when you decelerate. I know it won't idle with a hole in the top. Found it for $93.42 at a dealer, ordered it from Hawk used for $25.00.

Thanks.
