Got my spacers installed and new tires today and the alignment camber is off, I asked the tire shop if they could fix it and said on these models they can only adjust toe-in. Is this true or not?? here are the pics from a week ago and then today

Alignment Shop full of... :o sorry, just saw Mulan and was waxing oriental.
Actually, you CAN adjust camber using special bolts in the strut-to-hub mounting holes.
Many auto parts stores can order them for you. You might be able to order them (or get them ordered by someone else) from Specialty Products.
Check out http://www.ackerdackerly.com/samurai/indexFAQ.html There is an article in the contents frame on the left towards the bottom in the Tracker/Sidekick (or is it Sidekick/Tracker?) Drivetrain section.

Here's what you need: Click me! (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33581&item=7959011270&rd=1&ssPageName=WD1V)
I got mine close, but need the toe adjusted. Just need a full alignment done.

ok, here where i am, its true that the tyre/wheel store cannot install camber kits, but only adjust whatever is available. on the kick, there is no camber adjustment, so the toe is the only adjustment possible.
now with camber bolts, the eccentric cam type ones can move during hard off roading, or jumping. this is a minor matter, as you can self adjust after each trip.
these ones also struggle to get maybe 2 degrees of adjustment. also depends on how much suspension lift you have.
another way is to elongate the bottom strut hole outwards, and then find some large washers (OD), that fit a 12mm bolt, and tack or weld those on the strut so that the bolt is set to the outer side of the elongated hole.
most people do the top hole, and elongate it inwards, but if you have a look at the knuckle, its already hard up against the strut tube.
there are also other camber kits, that can allow for up to 5-10 degrees of adjustment, used in sedans and wagons of varying types. you can see these, or similar, in ED's thread "is this a bad cv angle" on here. they are not on the strut, but on the lower A arms. (widens the track) have a look. maybe ask him if he can get a better pic for you. this includes two guides, that are welded to the strut/arm, there is a washer, that fits into this guide, with a bolt welded off centre to adjust the camber. similar to the eccentric bolt concept, but better in my opinion. this can be tack welded into place so it does not move. or fully welded if you wish.
i have 3" suspension lift, and am wearing the outside shoulders of my tyres more rapidly than i would like, and so this may reduce this problem. other than that, the positive camber from sus lifting havent affected the ride on my vit much. either that or i dont notice a difference.
hope this helps,
Steve

heres the pic in EDs thread.

now, its got me thinking, if i put these on the a arms instead, wouldnt it be the same? i would need to get 4 though, but maybe its better. its sorta widening the front end. hmmmm...drawing board time.

your ride is looking good ;D bumpers next? i went with the camber bolts and have not had a problem. park on level ground and use a level yourself if a shop wont.
my daughter, 8 yrs, didnt like my ride till i took her muddin, she thought it looked to different. and when a lil boy in her class said he thought it was cool that helped too ;) now she loves it 8)

Yeah I'm currently building front and rear bumpers, but my metal fab skills arent the most experienced so its going slow. The whole time I was tearing it apart for the bod lift and spacers my daughters ages 6,5, and 3 kept coming out going daddy you broke your truck now fix it!! Once I got the tires on it they were all wanting to ride in it heh. I'm taking it to the Superlift event in B'ham, Al next weekend will post on how it does and try to get some pic's too.

if I grab the camber bolts then a level should the tires be straight up and down or slightly top in like 1 degree type of thing and is this necessary on a 2 inch lift?
-
i love yer sig "91 Toyota 4x4 bone stock other than a redneck lift(cranked T bars and a block in the rear) barred from wheeling by wife after a tree incident"
hahah
anyway what lift u running? and tires?

On the geo all I have is a homemade 3 inch body lift with the sky manufacturing 1.5 inch spring spacers and using 31x10.50x15 Summit Mud Dawgs. The 3 inch Calmini susp lift is next but will be later due to funds heh.
