I had originally planned on getting some 15x7s, but I might have found a good deal on some 15x8s. If I put 235s on the 15x8s, can I expect a lot more rubbing? I suppose a lot of it will have to do with backspacing, etc., but is there a general rule of thumb?
-
Its all going to depend on the offset/backspacing. I don't know what it is on mine but the front rubs a bit and the rear is chunking the lugs a bit. If it does rub a little lift is easy enough, not to get mine on.

OK, thanks. Got any pics of your setup?

Pics with some lift if you want tomorrow, finished the install after dark.

Do you know what kind of offset and backspacing you've got on those? (Always loved that wheel style)

Unsure on backspacing and such, the previous owner put them on. I just put on the tires.
Here is it with 1.5 up front and 1 in the rear.

Looks better. Once you have lifted them stock looks kinda worn down.
