Title: sidekick toyota cv modification.
Post by: Timbo_ on May 18, 2011, 05:05:16 AM
Probably brought up a few billion times.
Read somewhere that someone on here makes up kits to fit toyota pickup cvs in the front of earlier model vits.
Have done a quick search of vendor and tech section with no luck.
Just trying to track down someone i can shoot some questions too that has actually played around with this topic. Or even better, track down the person who makes up the kits.
Anyway, any help muchly appreciated.

New to the forum so hi to all from Darwin NT Australia :).

My bucket. 1991 SWB vit. 3"body 3"calmini lift. 33"silverstone extremes. lockright rear, sierra rear in the front with lockright. transfer gears, twin sticks. rear disk. ARB front bar. Soon to have some more blue bits underneath and a front skid plate. All legit and legal

cheers
Timbo

Do a search for posts by 37Kicker and Toyota as a key word, and also shoot him a PM. He (Stan) is not on line much but does check out the Forum when he gets on line. Last I heard he was still selling the conversion kit. Also check out the Article Archive under 'Hagen Sport'. There is an article about widening the front end. I believe this is a must for installing the Toyota CV's.
