Title: Samurai Adventurer Conversion Platform
Post by: KcZuks on May 19, 2011, 07:20:57 PM
I saw this at the ZU and thought it would be a great idea for someone taking off for a long distance or duration adventure. With a few additional comforts added it would be much nicer in a wider variety of elements than a tent ;) http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/61580-Samurai-Motorhome-Build-Thread (http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/61580-Samurai-Motorhome-Build-Thread)

That is a pretty neat little setup.  I have also seen people pull the front passenger seat and just run a piece of plywood up into the passenger side and a brace going to the floor.

Very thoughtfully done, I like it.  I also liked the Sprinter Expedition rig.
