Title: 16 x 8 rims for samurai
Post by: farmall on May 22, 2011, 08:53:06 AM
Thinking about running tractors on my new build for the woods.  Looks like I need 16 inch rims to do so.  I understand that the suzuki grand vitara rims are 16 inch, however, is there somewhere that sells aftermarket steel 16 x 8 rims for that samurai?  Thanks for your help.

There are lots of places that sell 16" rims for the Samurai.  The bolt pattern you are looking for is 5 on 5.5", shared with Jeep CJ's, some Bronco's and early Dodge trucks.  For larger tires a lot of us run 3.5" of backspacing, that usually gives you enough room to avoid hitting the springs when you turn.

Thank you for helping me out.  This is my first Samurai so I have lots of questions.  And lots to learn.
