Actually there were two styles of drain plugs used on
Samurai T-cases,not sure when the change occured
but it might have been 88 1/2.Early ones had a 24mm
hex head and a M18-1.5 thread. They have an aluminum
washer that should be replaced for a good seal and the
torque spec is 26.5 to 39.0 foot pounds.Later plugs
have a 10mm square hole in them and a 1/2 pipe
thread.Use some teflon tape on these and torque
to approx two grunts.
:P

Are those metric grunts, or American Standard grunts?  And is that from a squat, or just in a standing position?
