Hello, I am replacing both cv shafts in the front of my Tracker.I have the right side all back together, with {I thought no problems}.It seems there is a small spacer used in the area of the spindle and the axle snap ring. I left this out !
My question is:Does this spacer go between the spindle and the snap ring or The snap ring and hub? Or is this spacer that critical?
This Tracker is offroad only, liile mud, little water, and lots of sugar sand.
I am finishing this tonight, and hopefully 4-wheelin tomorrow.I would rather not take it back apart if its not that important.
Thanks
Randy
anyone here going to River Ranch Fl. this weekend?

WOO HOO ! I printed it and it came out full size.It is 34 & 35.Spindle,spacer,then snap ring.
Now what do you think about leaving it out?

I can't imagine any reason to do so.

Put it back in, the play in the axle will cause it to pound back and forth.

Bentparts you were right.Went back in,and put it back. Its is a much better fit with it,I could see how the spindle would eventually destroy/disengage the snap ring.
Thanks
