Title: Tracker PS on 1.6/8v SJ 33"
Post by: mbruce on May 29, 2011, 08:03:46 PM
Just wondering if the PS on a tracker will hold up to turning 33" tires? I read the washer trick that can increase pressure...
It would be super easy and convenient if it worked since I can just bolt it on and turn away!

What size pitarm is needed for a SPOA?

Anyone have any rubbing issues with running 33" tires on a SPOA ?

Thanks!

The power steering unit will hold up to 33" tires, but you will want to put a power steering cooler on it.

Cool - thanks!

And I read about the simple washer trick that adds more PSI...and then the 1/64th drill-bit hole to some part that allows more fluid thru?  but that may shorten the life of the pump....

I'll find a cooler.
