Title: Warm Engine in Idle, P or N Dies

So for some reason when my 2001 XL7 Touring is in IDLE after the engine is warm, only when in park or neutral, it dies, it has never died while in another gear, like reverse or drive. I have to give it some gas by holding the gas pedal down slightly or the engine dies. Any suggestions?
