Where is a cheap place to find a snatch block tough enough for an 8000lb winch? I like the warn, but I would like to spend less than the $50 price.

Tractor Supply Co., CO-OP, or any farm supply shop.

I would like to say that a snatch block is NOT a place to be cutting costs. If you have an 8,000 pound winch, and double the cable back to your rig, it will deliver a 16,000 pound capability. The snatch block has to be able to handle all of that. Just my 2 inflated cents.

Tractor Supply says $60 for the warn one and the others they carry only got to 4,000lbs. My local co-op also only has small ones in stock. Any other Ideas? Maybe a web company?

Hears where I got my winch rope and Recovery Kit. Comes with a whole bunch of stuff or you can just get the Snatch Block.

"Our block is rated for a continuous hoist load of 12,000 pounds (that's overhead load!) with a breaking strength of over 40,000 pounds. "
