Title: trans. coolers

Were do you all have your after market trans. coolers mounted. Im thinking of this one.

I used a more traditional flat one, put it in front of the intercooler

ive seen similar set ups on drag cars, but they used it for oil.  needs airflow on it.  good heat sink, but will still need some air flowing.  on the drag car it was on frame.  not so sure good idea to mount like that on a 4x4.  might rip off.  ;D

Check out replacement radiators.  A lot of them have built in oil coolers.

I had my 6 x 10 mounted behind the radiator, because I use an electric fan, and didn't want to loose motor cooling capacity.  I had to go to a bigger radiator, so I got one with cooling coils.
