Title: bogging/dead spot

i just installed my headman header and took the samauri to the muffler shop on the drive home there is a  bad dead spot when i accelerate it happens in at least  1st,2nd and 3rd gears  the sami is stock exept for the new exahust  could it be starving for air as the stock intake is still in place or  dose any one have any ideas as to how to eliminate the bogging p.s i am running it with no cat and a 2 inch pipe to a flowmaster muffler

Do you have the original Hitachi carb? Mine had bad hesitation that I just fixed today! See my post:

yes its the original carb i did not have this bogging problem befor i changed the exhaust  though but  will get one of those tube and see what happens
