Actually I got someone else with one not too long ago...

This gentleman was, how shall I say it, rather heavy. He traded in his huge fisher-bodied wagon and got a nice red soft top Tracker. People kept joking with him, saying it would crush like a pop can and that he was entrapped before he ever wrecks. I told him that he was actually pretty safe in that Tracker...   as long as he kept the top on and the windows rolled up tight.

He, of course, asked why he had to keep the top on and the windows rolled up to be safer in it.

I then told him to think about it, had he ever seen anyone crush a FULL pop can??!?  ;D ;D ;D

aw sweet, i so got this dork once.  He was trying to impress some girls and thought a good way was to rag on my "girl" car. (tracker)

first he said why did't you get a real 4x4 or at least something not so gay as a tracker.

-i said how is a tracker NOT a REAL 4x4?

i wouldn't be caught dead in that thing, i would've at least scraped up the 1000 more and gotten a jeep so not to look like a homo.

-I laughed and said name one thing physically different from my suzuki and a jeep.

he says, well for one the jeep is tougher

-i asked how

it's got real 4 wheel drive

-I REALLY laughed then.  dude, a tracker and a jeep wrangler are built 100 % the same.  the jeep has body on frame just like tha zuki,  the jeep and zuki both have "real" 4 wheel drive and 4w-hi/4w-low,  they are both rear wheel drive in 2w-hi,  they both come from the factory with the same ground clearance.  really the only difference is mine gets better gas mileage, is alot quieter with solid doors and is built better than a jeep.

he says, yeah well there is no way your little box could outperform a jeep man

-???, here i said look Vin Diesel, when your off roading the fastest you usaully go is 20 and thats already too fast.  any moron that bases there opinion of what SUV is better based on how fast it is, already shows how ignorant they are.  a true off road vehicle isn't about the quater mile but rather how well it off roads.  in that respect the tracker meets and beats the Jeep in every aspect.  you want pretty SUV's get an escalade and slap 20's on it...i guess that's manly to you, but then to me you just made your tough manly truck into a bitch truck because now it's only road worthy....so why would you get a big truck for that when it's obvious you "need" a car.

never heard a peep out of him and the girls (we already know them) laughed at him and said "OWNED"  i just looked at him and shook my head and laughed and said "Jeeps are better because they're faster...ha-ha your and idiot man"

During the entire time I started telling my brother that I was gonna lift my Tracker, he'd always have comments about how tippy it was going to be, and that it was just a four-wheel-drive gocart. I lifted it, wheeled with it, impressed a few people who I wheeled with, and my brother still has the same opinion of it... it's too tippy (and now, because of my broken aluminum diff housing, he thinks its crappily built, too). But he never has gone wheeling with me :)

"There's no way that little Sidekick can transport your 18-foot custom cedar strip canoe!"  - My old boss

;) Watch me a-hole! I should take a picture of that next time I lug that bada$$ up on the stock rack! It's quite a sight actually. I get pretty uptight about what people say about my boat hauling. Someone once told me right when I bought my lil putt putt that it wouldn't handle a trailer and set of kayaks. Proved them wrong!

Last year I was on a trail going up some pretty steep hills and a guy on an ATV asked "Does that have 4 wheel drive"?

some one said just because it says 4X4 doesn't mean it can go off road.

after the run everyone had alot of respect for the GEO. alot of jeeps a trcks didn't make it over the cars but i did.

I rarely get negative comments about my Sidekick.  The worst one I can remember was something to the effect of that's a piece of shit.  The guy who said was lucky that I happened to be on work property or else I think I would have buried him in the hole he was trying to dig up next to my ride.  He some dumb ass construction worker.

I get a lot of compliments on my ride and a lot of people want to know more and ask me questions about it.  If Suzuki only knew how much free ass kissing I do for them.  :P

I haven't gotten a lot of bad coments but I have gotten "THE LOOK".  The one that says "Now we have to watch out for this little thing of a truck."

We have a small park around here and it can get alot of people standing around certain obsticals.  I love the looks I get then.  I come around a corner, easaly go through the obsticals and then pull over to watch others do it.  I really pull over to give people a chance to come over  and ask me question about it.

I don't know how many pictures and videos got taken of me when I pulled out a Jeep on 35's in the middle of some major mud...

The worst comment is don't those tip over easy  >:(
the answer is No, that was a CU faked tipover and

She actually said that?  It's funny how stupid some people are...I mean some people just have utterly no clue about the auto industry.  I probably would have spit her in face if she had something like that to me.  To hell with making complaints.

We have several Trackicks in our club and at first we heard quite a few nasty comments. Not to mentions the looks and the talking behind our back. In the last couple of years our club has really had pretty good respect locally cause of our clubs reputation. Lately I hear comments like "Ive heard about you guys." Refering to our driving style. In the past I heard things like...

Does your wife know you have her car?

Do you have any idea how hard this trail is? (like I should reconsider)

i like RC cars but to much $, only one hobbie for me, and those army jeeps won us a few wars so i took them as compliments.

there is a 4X4 club near here that i am going to look into this fall, after 3" lift and gears.  its 90% heeps.  it will be interesting 8)

I lived across the street from a Frat House whan I was in School. One of their members had a new Wrangler, lifted, riding on 35's and thought he was the shit. Oh yea, the 35's were mounted on GOLD SPOKES :-/

One day I heard something said when I was pulling in the parking lot, so to his suprise, I u turned, jumped out of the Kick and asked what his problem was >:(

He commented on how I had to be crazy to wheel a Kick and there was no way it could out do a Jeep. I chalanged him to a simple chalange. I pointed out a 2' tall stump in the ASPHALT parking lot across the street, and chalanged him to simpally get 1 wheel on top of it ::)

He did not know shit about 4x4's and had no Idea that my "Little Kick" on 29's had lockers. Well, he tried and tried untill he bounced off of it, landed on the asphalt with the wheels still spinning and sanped a front shaft. Needless to say, he got pissed off, backed out of the way and said it was my turn.

I locked the hubs, hopped up on the stump on the first try, backed off and as I was turning around I noticed he had parked his jeep with the tires turned. So as his friends stood there laughing at him, because he got shown up by a Sidekick, I drove over to his jeep and climbed his 35's with my front wheel, lifting it about 3' in the air ;D

Between his friends laughing at him and him thinking I was going to hurt his truck by climbing the wheel I thought the boy was going to cry.

I never found out what he said as I drove by, but I never heard any more comments coming from them ;D

I called my insurance agent to get a policy on the Sami. I talked to the receptionist and gave her the specs: 1986 Suzuki Samurai, 4x4 etc. She responded "How many miles will you be riding the motorcycle each year?" :P
