Title: Is a cold air intake worth the money?
Post by: Aimsmall on July 06, 2011, 06:51:05 PM
I was looking on Lowranges web site today for after market goodies for my Sidekick and don't have a bunch of money to begin buying goodies for it and want to get the most bang for my few bucks as possible. It will be going on a 1.6 8 valve motor. I am thinking on spending in the 150-200 dollar range. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

No.

Biggest bang for the buck is a header.

I think he's refering to a under hood cold air intake not a snorkle type.

I use mine (snorkle) to move big branches out of the way, works great!  ;D

But that doesn't look cool at all...  Unless you drive around without a hood on.  :)
