Title: Wiring for motor install
Post by: mbruce on July 08, 2011, 07:42:41 PM
I'm putting in a '95 1.6/8v and the modified wiring harness in a samurai...

I took pictures of the fuses and etc but didn't pay attention to all the grounds...where is a good place to start to see where the grounds are? Would they be identified in the engine wiring diagrams in a chilton or Haynes ? I am a little worried about hooking everything back up the way it was...A lot worried really...lol

Yes, the chiltons and haynes manuals have the ground wiring in them.
The ground symbols look like this

 ____
  ___
    _

All the wiring grounds have a ring terminal on the end of the wire, from what I recall.
