Title: installing an automatic trans in an 87

i got a 87 suzuki sam with a 1.3l and i was wondering if any one could guide me in the right direction to installing an automatic transmission since i suck at driving stick

Your best bet is to use an auto tranny from a trackick (tracker/sidekick).  But to do that, you will have to cut and spread the tranny tunnel, because the auto tranny is too wide to fit in the stock tunnel.  You will also have to have a lift on your samurai (I'd say about 4"), because the front driveshaft will hit the tranny pan, if you don't.

sweet i was hoping to do a 2 in body lift then ad a suspension lift on top of it thank you
