Title: Do I really need a fuel pressure regulator?

I recently installed a Weber 32-36 on my 86 Sam 1.3 from Redline. It runs GREAT!!!!!!!, however the instructions say that webers like a regulator set at 3lbs. As I am running the stock fuel pump, should I install a regulator? Thanks yall.

just go to your local auto parts store and by a cheep pressure guage and see what you have for pressure at an idle , if its close you should be ok
