I just picked up a CHEAP 93 sidekick this last weekend and im shutting down on my samurai build and turning to this.
My question is, what cheap and easy mods are out there? I am going to school and supporting a family so about the only cash I have for this is derived from selling plasma so these need to be CHEAP mods. A local guy here etdavenport has told me to flip the little parts at the top of the struts upsidedown to get a couple inches of lift. Any comments?

The best bang for the buck lift is the spacer lift from Jeff.
What do you want to use the Sidekick for?

im going to be putting some 235/75R15 tires under it and using it as a daily driver and maybe occasionally 1-2 times going out to wheel on some VERY minor trails here in utah. if I can sell my samurai I would like to get some 5.62 gears and upgrade to 31" tires but for awhile I think im going to be using some 235's.
have any more info on jeffs lift?

I just installed Jeff's lift a while ago and did a write up on it here http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/installing-jeff's-2'-coild-lift-lots-of-pics/ (http://www.zukiworld.com/forum/build-diaries-how-to-diy/installing-jeff's-2'-coild-lift-lots-of-pics/). I agree, it is the best bang for your buck to get you out playing.

where do I go to buy this kit?

Jeff is frequently on this and other forums. He also started selling his kits on e-bay. He makes them for 1st gen trucks (like yours) and 2nd gen trucks as well. His coil spacers have pretty much stood the test of time for (I am sure) hundreds of trucks. I have a set of his original coil spacers on my 2002 Tracker (2nd gen). Been riding on them for almost 3 years now and 70K miles. No complaints. His spacers won't compress on you or crack. He is a honest and fair man to deal with to boot.

Here I am guys. Sorry I have been away. We went to Florida for 10 days. Did Disney for a few days and then went to St. Augustine for a friend's wedding, ON THE BEACH!!! It was the coolest wedding I have been to.
Yes i make the lifts kits and/or just spacers if needed. If you want a set contact me directly or through here. I will save you and me some $$ over Ebay.
