Title: My '88 Samurai has no A/C...please help!

I just brought an '88 Samurai rag top. The vehicle is in great condition but has no A/C. It had A/C at one point but had all the parts removed.

I took the vehicle to the shop this weekend to get it checked out and get the oil changed etc and the guy at the shop gave me an estimate of $1500 to $1800 parts and labor. I have no problem attempting this myself so can someone out there please tell me what parts I need and where I could buy them.

Would cost less to get a newer Track/Kick with air, and more comfortable ride too

Try giving Hawk Suzuki a call. Other then stripping it from another vehicle they are your best bet to find non-standard parts.
