Agent Orange, The Ultimate Adventure is an event put on by 4 Wheel and Off Road Magazine. Only a handfull of readers gets in every year. I belive it was 3 last year. Im not sure about this year. I cant reveal a lot about the Adventure, like  who when and where. That is for the the magazine to write about. What I can say is it will be held in July but probabally wont see the mag untill probabally November.

Four wheeling isnt all about big ass engines, kid. I'd rather have good gearing than a 350 Tracker.

I'm sure Mike won't have a problem keeping up with a bunch of heeps.

Anyhow, Congrats Mike.  Thats awesome news.

Wow,

Very nice I look forward to the issue, I'm sure I'll hear about it here so I'll know when to buy it. Make sure they do Zuk's justice. I haven't bought much magazine since being on the net, and I find the 4 wheeler mags to not cater to my tastes, but now I can look forward to buying an issue :)

Thanks for all the complements. Yes I will make sure to air down all four tires and then air them out.  ;) Only bad thing about not wheelin a jeep in this is that If I have an off day... or god forbid a bad week, people who dont know better will think Trackicks cant do sh*t. I will do my best to represent us well. The first trail we are going to hit is no trip to the mall. I cant say where it is but Ive been there before and its nasty. I plan to play a little conservative the first two days then go nuts mid week and show what a Trackick can do.  ;) We will see, plans dont always work out.  :-X I feel a little extra presure driving the first trackick in such a big event in such a big magazine. On the upside, my rig is runnin better than ever.  ;D

;D ;DRepresentin' Baby ;D ;D Dude, that is so sweeeetttt!!!! 8) Dude, you'll do fine. Just go out there and Kick some ass. I bet your glad you git the Orange paint job now, huh ;) Your Tracker will be looking sweeettt on the front cover of the magazine, after a good week of wheeling ;D

Two words of advise: SPARE PARTS!!!!!!

You can fix damn near anythng quick on the Tracker, so just bring spare parts to replace shit when you get the lead foot syndrome and you'll Kick Ass!!!!

Thats Awesome,

Just think once the heeps see you take flight they'll be saying the same thing Wayne & Garth do,"we're not worthy, we're not worthy." Just remember to bring your pilots license with you when you go. We (ZukiWorld community) got your back.

Mike should do fine. He's experienced in wheeling, knows his vehicle well, comes prepared, etc. Only thing I can suggest to Mike:  be playful with others when you feel they are attacking.........

Congrats again!!

Are you sure it is the "Ultimate Adventure" or is it 4Wheelers "Ultimate Truck Challenge"?

Wild and I were talking about it and I showed him last year's article on the Truck Challenge where a Sami did well against a bunch of Jeeps and full sized pickups. The Truck Challenge also allows for a four person crew. I'm sure you will get more than four volunteers if needed from Zukiworld.  :)

It's the Ultimate Adventure, where they travel a section of the country hitting cool riding areas. The vehicles have to drive from location to location so no trailor queens alowed. I think it was last year when they hit Tellico, Windrock, Blairsville Ga, a few other places and ended up in the Superwinch Park in Arkansas.

FYI.......Hansen auto Monday officially becomes a zuke dealer!  They have 40 rigs plus cars, a big azz sign, 10 grand in parts, plus what is on order, plus the zuke rep in on Monday.
SPoke to the owner, a pretty decent dude and he is gonna hook me up with warranty work.

Don't over do it. Have fun and do your thing. My Bro-in-law knows Brian, who had the Dodge in last years ride. There was a whole lot of things they didn't put in the vid or mag about the things he and his co-pilot did. He outshined them several times, without and mention of it. They seem to not mention what might take away from their perspective. Last year they spent quite a bunch of time talking up their project vehicle. While not really giving everyone a good shake at exposure.

My opinion.

In any case congrats for getting choosen. Perhaps it will lead to better exposure.

Twas the same for Four Wheelers Tough Truck Challenge. Lots of 'what's going to sell magazines' rather than a full open competition. Supposedly, readers got to choose the participants, but rather it was FW that did this. This lasted for several years. Supposedly, this has changed. To what extent, couldn't tell you.

I have same look at the mags video on last years UC. We'll see if it's like it again this year.

I'm touched!

Pray that the new dealer can fix my knock.  TOday I called them and he tried to tell me it could be spark plugs.
Bullsh*t!  Iridium plugs don't foul that quickly. Cheap champions maybe, but not these.
This will be interesting.

8) yes they were and i understand certain things can't or shouldn't be translated into magazines and such, someone could clain unfairness, like that whole "you never run my type rig" thing. It would have been nice to see more than one page of pics and stats on everyone (understanding pages being a premium) And a bit more vid time for them too. It definately left me wanting more... But when doesn't it?? And again congrats, represent and have fun.

You are best bet to take along your own camera and video. I don't think you'll get a copy of anything they take. If you do, it's only a copy and they will have owner rights. You'd be better off taking pics of designs and applications for tips. Mags and videos they sell won't show the details.
I have the all videos of the UA and the TTC. Lots of areas are edited out as the 'editor' didn't think it would be worth to show and sell the video.

You'll be disappointed in what they show in the end of their picture and video taking.

Or you can take your own pics and vids, only show to your friends (read as non-internet) with the albums, tapes, etc. That way, when you show up at a run afterwards, those can check them out. It's a personal album and no copies. Only you and anyone you show the album to.
Think sort of like the wedding photo/vidographer. It's his pics/vid rights, but you can show personally.

That way, once all is done, you can provide pics of something which they didn't show.

The vids suck as it's their vehicle getting destroyed body wise, in some cases there are pics of other peoples trucks, but it's so brief, it's rediculous. To add, pics are of whole truck and nothing technical.

Mike has the chance of a lifetime to kick butt and make a name

I hear ya all loud and clear. ;D I have every intention of taking additional pics as long as its OK with them. As wild said and I realize, Its the chance of a lifetime. After last years IFS rig I thought Id never get this chance, but I did, and Im not going to screw it up. My #1 priority is beating it hard enough to blow some poeples minds, but not so hard I cant finish the adventure.

Ive always liked the vids of the Ultimate Adventure and Top Truck Challenge. I was a little dissapointed that they didnt put more of Tim Hardy in the first Adventure. The #1 reason I bought the first UA vid was to see that hammered samy go, but he was only on the vid for about 5 minutes total.  :'( If it was a time issue I would been happy to watch a little longer.  ;D
