Title: Speedometer died...
Post by: r0ckstarr79 on May 20, 2004, 09:43:18 AM
So im driving along, cruising down the freeway. Speedometer is sitting smoothly at 70mph. I notice my mileage is getting up there. Its at 73k, then all of a sudden my needle just fell back to zero. I tapped on the top of the dash. Nothing. Its dead. The cable is connected at the guage, and everything looks fine there. Im thinking it has to do with where it goes into the T-case. Anybody have any ideas/hints/tips/tricks on what it could be, and or, how to fix it?

Broken speedo cable. they can break inside, and you will not be able to see the break, it is a preaty easy swap out.

Where can I get a new speedo cable?
