So i got a question for you samurai gooroo's out there. Im stationed in japan and my buddie is buying a samurai or jimmy over here and told me when i leave i can have the backseat out of it. My question is will it fit in my 87 sami back home?
-
It should, but send us some pictures of it.

When I got my Sidekick way back in '89, the back seat was a $850
installed option, :o I was told that they were shipped over here as
trucks, instead of cars, because technically without the back seat, that's
how they were classified. In Japanese, trucks are called a Yoe, and on
the rear diff, I saw a painted name, it said "YOE A" I think it was an
identification of the diff, truck-automatic which was the type of trans I had
I'm not sure why I posted this, just something that came to mind, and
I thought might be of some interest, and might be a lost tidbit of Zukilore
if not put into print.
Enjoy,

Dont have any pictures but my 88 is differant as far as that hardware. all that metal work sitting on the floor is not in mine. I got 2 bolts in the front and 2 in the back. It looks like it would fit though. Mine could be missing something. I would take that seat nonetheless drll a few holes if needed.
