I was thinking about getting a reciever hitch for my '95 Kick, (16 valve 4 cyl.) to tow my 14 ft fiberglass boat. I was wandering if anybody else has tried towing with thier Kick and how it did. My boat is fairly light, I can move it by hand easily. I was just concerned with the handling aspects at high speeds, etc. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,

well as you know the handling aspect of a tracker is bad over 25MPH. ;D if the boat of light enough it won't bother that bad. if you don't try to be Mario Andretti(sp?) then you should be fine.

I'm going to order a small trailer to tow my MX bike, which is also a Suzuki, anyways I already have a hitch that I got from Draw Tite.

Towing with a small vehicle is rather easy with a light weight trailer. I used a 00 2-dr 1.6l/5-sp/4wd Tracker (I once had) to tow home from Charleston, SC to Kansas City, MO a 16' Scamp camper, unloaded. I now use the -7 to pull the camper which is heavier now.
To add, it's also tongue weight which has to balance the tow load and the tow vehicle together. Lastly, the overall length of the trailer.
With a light weight boat and trailer, something you can move around yourself, I don't see a problem with the Trackick pulling it. Only thing, I'd make sure that I'd use a frame hitch frame with a 2" channel rather than the 1-1/2" channel. 2" is the standard for up to 5000#'s and is rather supported anywhere you would go for anything. Then for lights, get the plug-in wire harness with the flat 4 to work with your trailer. The Trackick should have 2 bolts holes already in the frame for the hitch frame. Rather simple enough to install by yourself.

I tow a small (5'x7') utility trailer with mine.
I've probably had up to 1000 lbs in it.
In general though, I typically tow under 500 lbs.
Of course, accelleration and braking are affected accordingly with the amount of weight towed, but (knock wood) I've never had any problems and at the 500 lbs or less weight the effects are negligible.
