My front seats are worn out. Going to the salvage yard. What will fit on the stock rails? ---Thanks--- ??? Greg

I am assuming you are talking about seats for a Samurai. You can use just about anything you want. I have seen Neon, Geo, Omni, etc in them. I have 76 Corvette seats in mine.
Save your rails.. When you get ready to bolt them to your new seats you may have to slightly modify where the seat rails bolt to the seat. I did this by bolt ing 2 strips of 1/8" X 2" x 14" pieces of flat steel to the underside of each seat. This let me place the seat rail into position and drill out the appropriate holes in the right position to mount the rails to the seat and then the whole shootin match to the tub.
One area of caution might be if you will be instslling or have a console. I need to pull my passenger seat back out to allow me to create and place the brackets that will be necessary to bolt in a 99 Vitara console in my Samurai. I may have to reposition the seat rails on the passenger side slightly to allow a smifgeon more mounting room for the console.
Have Fun..... ! Tux... 8)

I just put some 2000 Neon seats in my 86 Tintop, Front holes lined up, drilled rear holes and reinstalled. Alot better than stockers ;D

Seats from another Samurai, that's about it.

Pick out the seats you want and just make it happen.... Here are mine.... Mooooch .... better than the OEM across the pond seats. But what would you expect since the came out of America's Sportcar?

I was wondering if seats from a newer tracker would slide on. Lots of these in the salvage yards here not many Zuks. That I it would be faster with Tracker seats, right??
-
Greg,
Maybe you can measure the length of your Samurai tracks and the width from track to track and compare that to the other seats. If they are close then it is likely you can make them fit.
If your looking for a bolt in seat with no modification I believe Drone already answered that. Anything else will require some modification.
