I know that a least one of you has done this. I saw one a while ago and liked the look but forgot to save the pics.
Any downside to doing this?
Maybe decreased MPG due to increased coefficient of drag and turbulence under the vehicle?
Maybe less protection of AC condensor, radiator, and other items up front?

i don't have a front bumper but i did take the cover off the back just cuz it looked ugly and got full of mud. guess what the bumper still gets full of mud but at least it looks better.

I built my own front bumper, designed for
high angle of attack ;D
But the rear bumper is naked :o

I built my own bumpers, front and back. I still need to get some fittings for the rear one, and I'll have onboard air. ;D

Any Pics?

I took mine off and painted the bumpers, I'm happy with the way they look. All it cost was some paint. No real difference in MPG for me, I got 20 MPG and still get 20 MPG.

Its just temporary until I build my new bumpers. But I love the improved approach/departure angles it gives you with the skins off.

I'll be pulling the skins off mine as soon as I lift the body ;)
-
I ran a naked rear, until I got the Calmini Rear Swing-Arm Bumper.

After I did my body lift I took off the bumper cover, but I didn't like it very much. I also got tired of having to explain to police that the bumper was still on there and I just took off the cover.. :-/ >:(
