Title: Post up your cage pics
Post by: NotSoPC on September 02, 2011, 10:44:39 AM
So I did a search and could not find a cage pic thread. Soooooo post up pics of your cage!

I am going to pick up the Trail tough front cage but not too sure what to do about the rear. I don't run a back seat so it doesn't have to cover that area like it would if I were. Was thinking about just some down tubes to the top of the tail gate then turn down to the floor from there. What you got in yours?

I use the cage from Davesport, works great and has been tested a few times.  You can find it over at davesport.com.

If I was building one from scratch I would probably bend it around the rear targa bar, to give me a bit more head room.

To be honest in my opinion people that are running cages have custom built them not ordered em. Im starting to see more and more people running exo cages. Even on DD's, I'm going to be building a cheap home built exo cage and I will be doing a build thread with auto cadd drawings here in the near future. Like he said if your gonna do a roll cage check out davesport. Zack

But why you need a cage pic, is there any serious reason. You can search it on Google.

Sometimes it's nice to be able to ask people about their cages when they post the pictures.  :)

I'm not the biggest fan of exo-cages, but they do have their place.  I just tend to think they are to heavy.  :D

I agree with you Drone. My theory of exo cages are they have there place especially since rock crawling is getting bigger and bigger everywhere. They tend to be on the heavier side, but great protection in the end. I will be putting one on mine sooner or later!  Zak
