Title: 97 Sidekick Spare Tire Holder Load Rating?

I'm thinking about fabricating a Gerry-can holder to mount to the spare tire holder on the back hatch of my Sidekick. Does anyone know if it can handle a 5 gallon tank plus the tire?

I had something like that on mine and it will eventually shake the door apart. Finally built a swing away carrier for both spare and jerry can.
