Title: Picked up my first SJ

I just picked up my first Samurai so far i luv it. I hope i didn't get screwed here is the list of mods it has to date:
New motor high comp piston's and mild cam, weber carb, GM alt
Rebuilt tranny, rebuilt T-case w/5:61 gear redution rebuilt axles w/4:11 gears no lockers
New tires and wheels 235/75/15 (there decent but i want wider and a little taller)
SPOA lift, some kind of steering linkages? (there not stock)
Solid built bumpers front & rear. and 3 different tops
I give 3500.00 for it did i make out all right? I never owned a Samuria but i'm not new to off rd world i think i did pretty good let me know what you think about it? Thanks

Looks good.
I think you are off with your gearing numbers.  They don't make either of those gears for what you have them listed for.  What it might have is 4.62 axle gears and 4.16 tcase gears.  Or maybe 4.10 axle gears and 5.1 tcase gears.  Whatever it has, it probably has plenty of gear reduction for 29" tall tires.

She looks good, and if she runs good for the price you paid you should be happy.
Know this they rarely ever fail to take you home. And even then its your fault ;)

I saw that for sale on Craigs List, called to talk to the guy about it and he said SOLD*

guess it was to you. Congrats on the new ride man. Have fun with her.  ;D
