My drivers side front door in a 2001 Tracker 4 door power lock is not working, it does get power when you press the remote. I don't see any used ones for sale and some Edmunds forum stated you have to buy the whole assembly which is pricey. Does anyone know if this is true or where to get a used one? To make it worse my rear windows are are not working, could it be the ECM?

The driver side controls are often the "main" control, I would
look for a bad wire or solder joint on the switch before paying
pricey to get a new one.
Just a thought

I broke the tab off the plastic door pull, not having a good day on this.
Any idea how to visually spot a bad connection or broken wire? I would assume its time consuming so you just have to be patient. I pulled the door panel and vapor shield to see if any splicing was done, someone has been inside as the vapor shield was taped on but the speakers are upgraded so you never know.
