What is the Duty Check Coupler used for?
-
to set your idle air adjustment.

What do you plug in? I haven't got that far in the maintenance book. Ran across it while looking for a switched source for my tach. PK

It may depend on the vehicle and the year of manufacture - I can use mine to "freeze" the ignition advance, allowing me to set the base ignition timing, and also to get any active CEL codes.

i have used the connector to adjust the idle mixture(after removing the anti-tamper pin).
i used a dwell meter..... not a quality unit, but it did act as the manual predicted.
i have the carbureted sidekick, but i expect it's similar to the samurai.
