Title: dash a/c vents

i hooked my heater core back up in my 87 samurai and the bottom vents and the defrost vents blow hot but the circle dash vents dont. are those just a/c vents or is something not hooked up right?

i believe that the dash vents blow only air or A/C if equipped.

Heat will only come out of the floor vents and the defroster vents.  It is just the way the samurai heater box is set up.
