Title: Wheelin pics
Post by: Mikerpm4x4 on May 11, 2004, 03:37:04 AM
We went out wheelin last night to test some mods I did. So far so good.  ;)

I had to enhance 2 of the photos cause they were dark. The sun was going down fast! This hill is new and at our last event nobody could get up it, including me. However after just 4 tries I made it last night! ;D

Mike, why didn't you paint your door mirrors?

What particular mod did you make to test? Think this helped make the hill?

I rip mirrors off on trees a lot so I wanted to keep it simple. I have a stash of mirrors (all black) from all the trackicks Me and my buddies part out.

I wast playing with suspension geometry. As for whether it helped me get up the hill... I think so.

One of the reasons I got a -7 is due to the folding mirrors. Doesn't the Euro versions have folding mirrors? http://www.k9rdj.co.uk/buildwas/P1010002.JPG Wouldn't these work?

Next question, if the mirrors get ripped off, why are the doors straight?

Yep Mhn3773 nailed it "He gets close..not TO close"  AND the doors dont always stay straight!  :-[ I just fix em if it happens.
