I use the Dupli Color spray on at work a lot for coating oil pans and such "I'm a marine mech and hate changing oil pans in boats due to corrosion". And been very happy with it but I don't think it'll hold up to the UV and start sluffing off after awhile. I ran into this when I coated one of my boats interior with a two part DIY truck bed liner (grizzly coat) that had UV blocker but it didn't last. Started getting chalky and sluffing when you wash it.

After using both the spray on and roll on bedliner I have to say the stuff in the aersol can is junk.  I used about half a can which then became clogged due to the particles in the liner itself.  The spray can didnt give me much texture at all pretty much just comes out as a smooth matte finish.  Now that Ive redone all my fenders with the roll on its a night and day difference in appearance and in durability.  Get the kit of roll on with the roller and all, gives it a nice textured finish and is a hell of alot harder to scratch then the spray on.  I know I didnt regret rolling out the cash for the roll on despite my dobuts at first, I think you'd be much more satisfied long run.  Its left me pin stripeless for over a year (wont protect from dents though  ;) ) Good luck on your paint job.

The duplicolor and rustoleum spray in bedliner are absolutely junk! I tried it on several items from ATV racks to a ATV plow to a metal handrail. And in every instance it lasted about one exposure to the elements to start degrading and one season exposed to the weather to fail.

As far as I am concerned there really is only one option and that is Monstaliner, you would probably have to spend about twice as much for the duplicolor crap to entirely cover the ride compared to Monstaliner.

Here is a pic of the grey color I put down on the interior of my Sidekick, a very nice texture that wont break down and flake or slough off.

many have had success with Tractor Supply tractor/implement paint.

cheap, rollable, and very durable as long as you purchase and add the additional 'hardener'
<$50 for both and looks a helluva lot better for an exterior, imho
