Title: jeffs spacer help?
Post by: Perram on October 26, 2011, 04:10:34 AM
Hey i installed the Jeffs spacers and under full flex there is a clicking noise

the noise sounds like its coming from the back diff like the spines on the tail shaft and diff are jumping apart
i havnt added a diff spacer from the tail shaft. Would this fix it?

any advise would help

Cheers Pez

I'd think the U-joint would be a more likely culprit.

I agree with the other fellows diagnosis... But, have you called Jeff and asked him? When I put mine on Jeff was extremely helpfull! He has sold these for some time now and if there is any problems with his kits I am betting he has heard it all....

You could add a diff spacer but I do not think it will help. It sounds like the U joints to me. Is it a 2 door or 4 door? The driveshafts are shorter on a 2 door thus more angle when lifted.
