Title: Bleeding Brakes
Post by: Zukipilot on May 12, 2004, 02:55:15 AM
Are brake lines soppose to be bled;
1- closest to the mastercylinder first, then work your way to the furthest away.
or
2- furthest from the Mastercylinder first, then work your way to the shortest line.

1- would make since to me, and I believe that is how I did it last time, but it has been a while.

Thanks,
Zig

Farthest away to closest to master cylinder. Note, that some master's have a singlereservior rather than a split reservior. Suppose to fill master, then bleed to get clean fluid out, always rechecking the master after several 'bleeds'.
Do note, Suzuki has a line route somewhat different. There is no 'T' on the rear axle. This shouldn't make a difference, but if there is still air in the system, could lead to a hole someplace else.
