Title: running rich

I have a lifted 86 sami The carb is running rich and after warming up the idle is very rough. My Haynes manual isnt much help at this point. I have adjusted the timing, gaped the valves to their correct specs new plugs and new wires. i have cleaned the carb out and tried to adjust the idle but no luck.

Make sure the choke flap isn't stuck in the closed or partly closed position
and the float level isn't too high
