Title: can a front locker be used on the rear???

i had a few questions about lockers. i have a 1995 geo tracker two door. i wanted to buy a rear locker for my rig, i have the oppertunity to get a front Detroit lockrites,
i was wondering if i could put a front locker on the rear of me rig, i was told you could. can some one plz answer this for me. i dontr know what to belive, i dont want to spend the money on that locker if it's not good to me. thank you for you help

nobody has ever made a front locker for a tracker.  you are probley(sp) getting a sammy locker in a milled sammy carrier.  and i am almost positve(sp) that you can take the sammy 26 spline locker and put it in the rear of your tracker.

just an update, the person selling me the locker said it was for a 1998 4 door tracker.

This is true w/Samurai Sidegears. The casting flash on the Samurai Sidegear "face" needs to be ground off to make it fit.
