Title: best gas shock replacements for samurai?

i have this 1987 samurai and the ride isn't real smooth at all.  need to replace all four gas shocks.

What gas shocks would be smooth on the road, but also good for offroading?

The cheapest ones you can find!  You want to get the cheap gas shocks, otherwise they are to stiff for the light weight Sammy.  Someone else will probably jump in with some brands and models.
