Title: How many detent balls in my sammy t-case?

Does my sammy have 1 or 2 detent balls for the 4wd shifter. I know about the 1 larger one for the indicator light, but am unclear if I am suppost to have 1 or 2 for the shifter lever. Thanks.

Looking at the parts manual I count four (4).

There are 4 total.  One larger one for the 4wd indicator switch.  Three smaller ones that go around the shift rails (one on either side and one in the middle).
