Title: finnally tested!
Post by: stingerx on May 07, 2004, 04:15:23 PM
well, its been 2 months since my calmini lift on my 01 track, 1 month since i slapped on goodyear wrangler mt/r shoes, and 2 weeks since i installed my zookin customs intake.  I finnally had a day off to go play down at the rundown buffalo waterfront.  this truck is amazing! i never expected it to perform off road like it does. whether it be mud or steep inclines the track hauls.  i noticed people slowing down on the nearby highway to veiw a "tracker" kicking up mud along the hill tops. my bros jaw hit the floor of his z71 because of the manuverability and the tight places i hit.  i am keeping this truck for ever.  fortunatly for me buffalo is full of vitaras and trackers so spare parts trucks will be plentiful in the comming years.  sure i was in to my truck and the zuke thing and all.  i think i just went over that line.  can you say stoked? its supposed to rain tonight so there will be even more mud for me to play in tommorow all day since i took the day off to go wheelin.

the samt thing happened to me last year in Alburg.  we had about 10 to 15 trucks out in front near the road and we had a line of cars watching us.  some people even broke out the camaras.  but back to your tracker,  are you going to put a locker or LSD in it?

P.S.  Matty,  your new sigs rock!  sweetness.

Glad you are out having fun with your vehicle.

Not to place any judgement, but is the place you were at open to the public for driving or private land and you got permission?
4-wheelers have a bad rap in the public's eye.

the place i was wheeling is down by the buffalo waterfront where we go fishing at an abandon ship dock and abandon rail yards from the old steel industry days.  the area tends to be where alot of stolen cars end up to be torched.  i want to say its government owned but they are starting to build up some warehouses and factories in the immediate area.  and the gops out that way ony care if your shootin, drinkin or dealin drugs. so they leave us alone.  since my trucks a daily driver, im thinkin bout getting a suzuki z400 4 wheeler to have even more fun with.

Sounds pretty cool.

Think of investing? Get a warehouse as waterfront property, then when the Bills actually hit the playoffs again, they could be knocking on your door for a waterfront stadium, mmmm..... wait that was only in a movie (Romeo must die!!!).... but what the hell.

Is there a local club you can hang out with and go wheeling/camping?
