Title: 88 suzuki samurai sputtering problems
Post by: sween09 on November 17, 2011, 08:13:04 AM
A couple days ago i bought an 88 samurai. it has a brand new weber carburetor on it. When i shift gears in it it sputters and has no power up until about 3000 rpms. It feels like its about to die. I tried changing the spark plugs but that didnt help any. i dont know very much about suzukis yet. does anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it?

It sounds like the primary fuel jet is clogged. You need to service the carb
Here is a Pdf file with general trouble shooting procedure for Weber carbs
