Did you take the carb out of the vehicle?

There is supposed to be site glass on that version of Carb. If the gasoline level is at the height of dot in the glass you are  good. If not you'll have adjust the float level. Get a good copy of Suzuki FSM from somewhere before you do.

I am thinking of just  getting  a rebuilt carb from Petroworks in the  next couple of  weeks. That should fix everything  as I  do not  want  to  take  the thing appart as I hear they  are  a  little  tough  to work on if  you are not  familiar with carbs in general and I  have  never gone  into  one before.
