Post by: Zukidub on November 30, 2011, 06:10:00 AM
Anyone running this chip have some "real world" numbers, mpg & horsepower?

http://www.gfchips.com/ (http://www.gfchips.com/)

I had a Nuespeed chip in my 2.0L VW and saw realisticly 2mpg and 10hp increase, Thanks

What kills me about scams like this is how they LIE ...

The GF module installs into your SUZUKI VITARA's engine bay and is connected via 2 wires that plug into the IAT sensor. Diagrams are included. The unit is then able to reprogram the ECU thus improving your car's performance.

It's not reprogramming the ECU, it simply make the IAT read colder than it is (destroying fuel economy and unlikely to provide any added HP).

Not sure how they cn claim increased fuel econemy when it does as SnoFalls says. I have a similar device connected to my IAT and only used it to increase ( richen ) mixture for my turbo setup.  I since have turned it off ( mines switchable) and now run alch/H20 injection instead. It did help a bit with making the ECU run everything a bit richer but not enough to see any increase in HP that was noticeable seat of the pants.

Most of us in (the know) it is the sticker that comes with it that put's out the most horse power, I would order an extra one with it to put on on each side of your rig so that when your doing those long burn outs your rig will stay straight!

Can't forget the " R Spec" stickers too. they're good for another 30 hp
