hey guy's I was wondering if there is a problem with taking parts off my 90 tracker and putting them on my 96 tracker, I lost a wheel while flat towing and really messed uped my a arm and entire brake setup on drivers side of my 96 and I know that I will need another 26 spline cv but I am not sure if the other parts are swapable, this is a wheeler only so it don't have to be road worthy I just NEEEED to go wheeling this weekend (memorial weekend) and I dont have the cash to buy everything new and probably would not get it in time anyway.
please help so I can get started on ripping apart my 90.
thanks

Go for it!

Go for it!
so that means yes it's ok?

you should have no problem ...
even the drivers CV from the 90 should mate fine to the 96 ... I think ... there was a shaft change that made the inner shaft of your 96 1/4" longer than the 22 spline inner on your 90 ...
-
my 96 is 26 spline not 22 so I am sure that I will need a new cv.
-
that's if you have to change the inner shaft ... the splines at the hubs are all 26 spline.
just leave the inner shafts where they are (assuming that wasn't what broke ...)

All the front suspension components are the same. The only difference in the pre 96 kicks had the 22 spline inner shafts. The ones 96 and newer were 26 spline inner. Struts, Arms, coils and everything else are the same.

thanks for all the info and I like the fact that I dont have to spend money on the cv, I sure am happy that it was my drivers side and not the other.
thanks again.
